Cross laminated timber is meant for a panel built by crosswise wood planks glued and stacked together to form a long span platform for roofs, floors and walls.
The short term of cross laminated timber called CLT. This material is highly recommended for building material. Few units of CLT can be fastened together to form a solid platform.
CLTs can be cut into various sizes and shapes. They cut down a lot of time and labor due to their pre-fabrication condition when they are in use in construction. At the same time, the flexibility of using the CLT also reduce wastage.
